A classical case of ignorance,
Neglect, she said, was falsely accused.
Pitiful creature,
So delicate,
So fair.
What would scratch such pink, porcelain cheeks,
To see what lies beneath?
Haha,
Dear woman,
I would.
To see tears fall afterwards,
The salt to the wound, would bring me such everlasting,
Sanguine laughter,
The same sound that clogs her lungs through your smoke.
My beautiful sinner,
Fairest, most delightful of cutthroats,
Certainly she remembers that night,
Beneath the black canopy,
She remembers the misted red screams.
She loved it.
Such memories stretch thin wings,
To land on bare rocks,
Like pale, dusted bones.
Crack, and snapped,
As her feet carried her through the gaping doorway.
A slow sound of leaving,
The lament of the next morning's hangover.
What a night.
And then what became afterwards?
To put it simply,
I would have never guessed that I could be so
Frail.

Here I've left you a stanza that I found quite intriguing, quite gorgeous. Thing is, I could say it was my favorite stanza, but that would be a lie. For to copy my favorite stanza would be like picking my favorite chess piece; simply cannot be done. Not to mention I'm horrible at chess and every piece is dear in that strange amateur way.
The way you place your words, phrases...gorgeous.
'To land on bare rocks,
Like pale, dusted bones.'
Makes me want to write again. Inspirational.
